Software Engineer
Abridged Role Description
- Software development & maintenance of embedded systems - application, library &
driver layers.
- Commissioning and Customer support.
- Development of supporting documentation.
Essential
- Electrical Engineering (or similar) or Computer Science degree qualified.
- Spry, confident and development focused.
- 4 years (minimum) embedded C and C++ industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics. (switches, circuit breakers,
motors, contactors etc. – nothing too onerous)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel local, interstate and overseas.
- Passionate attitude towards industrial machinery.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure environment.
Bonus
- Exposure to industrial communication networks.
- Exposure to safety critical development lifecycles.
- Exposure to the mining sector or similar industrial environment.
